A career in the jewellery and watch industry in Jersey can be varied, exciting and extremely rewarding.
Whether you are interested in jewellery and watch retail or retail management, jewellery design, working as a goldsmith or watchmaker, buying or new product development there is a huge amount of opportunity and experience in Jersey.
SOCIAL MEDIA – SUMMER JOB – BRILLIANCE
Aim
To create social media content that will drive people into participants stores for the Brilliance festival and book tickets creating engagement for their events.
The theme is ‘Legacy’
How
For each participant of the Brilliance Festival, create content including 5 Reels and photos etc for use on Instagram, Facebook and maybe TikTok highlighting:
- Their event and how it relates to ‘Legacy’
- About their business – what are they Brilliant at
- Product placement – Highlight a product
- Introduce a team member
These short video clips will be used for creative content, to showcase the personality of the jewellers, promote brands, or just have fun!
- Make content for the 10 fun facts of the jewellery world.
Content will be supplied ready to be posted on social media .
Current participants
6-8 jewellers in Jersey.
Target audience
18-40 -social media savvy people.
Target message
How ‘Brilliant’ our industry is here on Jersey, variety, expertise, engaging, something to be proud of.
Style Mixture of still as video snippets, with fun music. No too serious, or over-posh, accompanying text to be snappy and call to action.
Format The correct format and sizing for using as Reels on Instagram and FB.

£1000 Project Fee.
Schedule
Start capturing content as soon as you can. Content to be ready to launch by 1st August 2023 and then we can continually post until the festival starts 22nd October 2023.
